Visit to Motherless Home

Event Overview: On the 26th of July, 2023, the Modupe Morire Love Foundation organized a heartfelt visit to a motherless home in Ikotun, Lagos. This visit was part of our ongoing efforts to provide care, support, and companionship to children without parental care.

Objectives:

• Provide Support: Deliver essential items to improve the daily lives of the children.
• Show Care and Compassion: Spend quality time with the children, offering them the warmth and attention they deserve.
• Enhance Well-being: Address immediate needs and bring joy to the children through interaction and gifts.

Activities:

• Donation of Items: We brought and distributed a variety of donated items, including food, clothing, educational materials, and toys.
• Engagement Sessions: Volunteers organized fun activities, storytelling sessions, and games to engage with the children and create a cheerful environment.
• Interactive Discussions: Conversations with the staff to understand their ongoing needs and challenges, aiming to provide further support in the future.

Expenditure:

• Total Cost: ₦180,000
  • Donated Items: ₦130,000
  • Logistics: ₦50,000

Impact: This visit brought smiles and a sense of belonging to the children, who enjoyed the day filled with laughter, gifts, and new friends. It also strengthened our commitment to supporting vulnerable groups within our community.
