The International Day of Street Children
The International Day of Street Children event, organized by the Modupe Morire Love Foundation, was a significant step toward improving the lives of street children in Ajah, Lagos. Through advocacy, direct support, and empowerment, MMLove reinforced its dedication to ensuring that these children are given the attention, care, and opportunities they deserve. However, much more work remains to be done, and MMLove is committed to continuing its efforts to support street children in the long term.
Objectives

- Support and Outreach: Provide street children with essential supplies, including food, clothing, and educational materials.
- Empowerment and Hope: Encourage street children by letting them know they have a place in society and deserve opportunities for growth and a better future.
Event Highlights
- Educational Sessions: The event began with an interactive session where volunteers educated the children on their rights and the importance of education. The session included motivational talks from guest speakers who shared inspiring stories of overcoming adversity.
- Distribution of Supplies: The foundation provided street children with basic necessities such as food packs, hygiene kits, and educational materials. These items were distributed to meet their immediate needs and help improve their daily lives.
- Creative Activities: The children participated in creative activities such as drawing, painting, and games. This allowed them to express their creativity and enjoy a break from their challenging daily routines.
